Dental Insurance Plus, My son is autistic and has dental issues.
I need dental help for my autistic son. My son is five years old and has dental issues that need to be address. It is very difficult to brush and floss his teeth because he fights with you he also grinds his teeth at night.
Our dental bill is always costly but this time I not sure what to believe.  We went to a new dentist since the old one we had retired. The new dentist is stating that he has 6 cavities. Even though at his last appointment five months ago he had only one cavity that we needed to address.
This new dentist is also advising that we crown all of his back teeth since he grinds them. This would cost us $375.00 a crown. Cost aside this would also be a lot of dental work that I am not sure my son can handle.  We do not have dental insurance and we do not receive any dental benefits from my husband job. Should I get a second opinion? And is it too late to get dental insurance for my son dental work?
